Superbowl
party in Missouri
On Sunday, January 26th, we went to Missouri to join family friends for a superbowl party! Of course, we took lots of pictures!
Lance gets ready to load up Bowly the Boxer in the new Saturn!
Here is a shot taken in the town of Moran, KS, along the way to MO.
This picture was taken in Bronson, KS. You can see the grain co-op in the background; a very typical sight in small Kansas towns.
Another shot of the Bronson co-op.
The Red Barn restaurant, just outside of Fort Scott, KS.
A house near Nevada, MO that is built into the side of the hill.
Typical southwestern Missouri woods, by the roadside.
Farm near El Dorado Springs, MO.
View from through the windshield, driving in southwest MO.
Finally at Becca's house! Jane and Becca pose, while Lance unloads the car. This house is a lakeside cabin that Becca and her husband, Tim, are remodeling!
The kids eat lunch. From left to right, Seph Burleson (4), Jessa Loane (5), Zury Burleson (2), and Ashley Loane (3). What a bunch!
On the way to the store for Superbowl snacks, Tig & Jane pose on the Possum Squad landmark near Becca's house!
Becca took us to see where the Canada geese spend their winter, on the shore of beautiful Stockton Lake. Becca's house is just across the lake.
Geese in flight.
Sunset at the lake.
Lance and Tim watch the Superbowl.
Becca and Jane visit with the Loane's big dog, Hera.
